Helicon Remote automatically adjusts camera speed to match cameras shooting speed and current DOF. Helicon Remote is now able to use burst/serial shooting mode of the camera for continuous high speed shooting together with continuous movement of the camera on the StackShot rails. Burst focus bracketing using StackShot macro rails It's not only handy to position the camera and to do all the adjustments remotely from your laptop, tablet or phone, but also it allows to keep the camera completely still, avoiding shaking of camera from pressing the shutter release button. #Zoom in helicon remote series#Helicon Remote allows to control the camera in burst shooting mode remotely - either to set the number of shots in the series or to press the start and stop buttons, depending on your camera model. It might be especially useful for shooting objects in motion. make series of shots in very quick succession. Burst shootingĪll the supported cameras can shoot in burst mode, i.e. With Helicon Remote, you can combine time-lapse photography with focus and exposure bracketing.įor example, you could capture a flower bud opening, a piece of fruit ripening, traffic on a busy street over the length of a day-or whatever suits your fancy. Why would you do this? If your object is changing over time you may want to capture its different stages and then combine the shots into a fascinating movie. Time-lapse photography is photography over time, i.e., when you set your camera to take shots automatically every few seconds, minutes, or hours. Helicon Remote is able to capture extra long exposures - up to 32 min with the cameras that support this feature: all Canon cameras, Nikon D600 / D800 / D4 / D7100 / D5200 and later Nikon cameras. You can set up to 15 exposure steps, which is more than most cameras allow, and as many focusing steps as needed. This allows you to create images with HDR and an extended depth of field. With Helicon Remote you can combine exposure bracketing (HDR) and focus bracketing (DoF). The focused area is then highlighted so that you can preview the DoF with the current settings and make incremental focusing steps. Helicon Remote facilitates precise focusing: you just click or tap on the Live View to focus the lens. You set the nearest and the farthest points of the object that you want to have in focus, and the program does all the rest, calculating the depth of field in one shot at the current settings and how many shots need to be taken. Helicon Remote automates focus bracketing. With Helicon Remote you can change most camera settings: aperture, shutter speed, ISO, flash mode, flash compensation, white balance, color temperature, image format, exposure compensation, and drive/shooting mode. This functionality is perfect for macro photography, when your camera is often in an awkward location and you want to avoid camera shakes caused by pressing the buttons. With Helicon Remote you can remotely capture and view full-resolution JPEG/RAW images to check their focus and exposure. Tethered Shooting of Images and Video and Remote Camera Settings Control

#Goodtimes pizza fullTheir hope is to provide more of those full circle moments to their customers. Goodtimes Pizza uses quality ingredients, believes in providing great customer service, supporting the community and hopes to give great family experiences to everyone that comes in. They see all their employees and customers as family. Their daughter and sons work along side of them. They have taken that concept and their local community to heart. Troy and Cinnamon have dreamed of owning a family pizza shop. We believe in full circle moments that happen in life and this certainly was one of them. At the end of 2016, Troy and his wife Cinnamon bought Goodtimes. Troy’s pizza journey also includes a stop along the way working at Goodtimes in Anderson at the age of 16…for Jeanette’s Dad, Charlie. You may recognize him from his welcoming personality if you ever shopped at Winco where he spent 20 years in the pizza department. Troy has worked in pizza for the majority of his life. Troy Parrott came to work for Jeanette in January 2016. Jeanette Axner and her mom opened the Palo Cedro Goodtimes in the current location after renovating the building in 1998. #Goodtimes pizza movieOur building has been home to Junction School, a movie theatre “The Flick”, and Andy’s Hardware Store. The Palo Cedro Goodtimes Pizza & Things is the last remaining of the original pizza shops. “I’m just looking forward to getting this thing in motion,” Gilbertson said.Goodtimes Pizza had multiple locations in Redding and Anderson decades ago. He’s excited to finally open his own shop there. Gilbertson lives near his shop in Kingfield and said he loves the neighborhood and the 38th & Grand corner. “The more dive bar clutter I can get in here the better,” he said. A Pac-Man head-to-head arcade gaming table stocked with classic games sits in a corner. There’s a jukebox from the 1980s and an antique Old Style beer lamp. Gilbertson wants Good Times to have an old-school vibe. A small-but-high-quality wine list will be available as well, including a sparkling wine on tap. He plans on having local craft beer on tap, as well as some major domestic beers and some throwbacks like Old Style. Good Times will also be serving salads and Izzy’s ice cream for dessert. “It’s a departure for me, but it’s familiar because it’s centered around an oven,” Gilbertson said. Many of the pies will have classic ingredient combinations, but he’s going to get a little funky with it, too, like with the pepperoni and pickle pizza. When he was growing up, his uncles ran a pizzeria in Dinkytown and he had fond memories of hanging out at their restaurant.Īt Good Times, Gilbertson will focus on 10-inch, tavern-style pizzas good for individual consumption or sharing. On the West Coast, he worked in kitchens, became a pastry chef and ran his own bakery for a decade. “We had to stop and consider, at least a couple times, ‘Do we stay with this?’” Gilbertson said.īut he didn’t give up, and now he’s putting the finishing touches on the building and training in staff.Ī Minneapolis native, Gilbertson moved back to Minnesota after many years in Seattle. The process became an exercise in perseverance, he said. #Goodtimes pizza updateGilbertson had issues with a contractor he hired to update the building and had to part ways after it wasn’t fulfilling obligations. But that wasn’t the only issue for Good Times. #Goodtimes pizza windowsThe broken windows stopped about six months ago, Gilbertson said. was vandalized multiple times in 2019, a pattern that occurred at several properties owned by landlord Tyler Avestini. After months of vandalism, frustration and setbacks, the good times are on the horizon for a Kingfield pizzeria. It’s played from the 3rd personal perspective and you can run and jump as standard. The gameplay in Solar Ash is all about action-platforming. To do this you have to solve puzzles in various areas and defeat the Anomalies. AS well as finding out what happened to your buddies, you have to restart a piece of technology called The Starseed, which should hopefully close the black hole and save Rei’s planet from certain destruction. You play as Rei, a Void Runner who’s traveled inside a black hole called The Ultravoid and it’s up to you to find out what happened to the rest of the Void Runners. SOLAR ASH PLATFORMS PLUSLast time we hardly had anything at all, but in Solar Ash, the characters are voiced, plus there are plenty of other story and audio logs to find scattered around the place, which builds up the world and characters nicely. A major difference this time is the dialogue and story. The colors are bright and pop from the screen, although Solar Ash is played in the 3D space rather than the 2D pixel art of Heart Machine’s previous game. Solar Ash is similar in a few ways to Hyper Light Drifter. Partnering with the corruption are huge Anomalies, giant beasts roaming the broken lands and we have to save the day. Rei, the main protagonist in the game and the being you control throughout, has to rid the world of the corruption and find clues pointing to where the other Void Runners have gone. However, there’s something not quite right with the world, as it’s covered in corruption. Pinks, purples, and deep reds scatter the landscape as you glide across it. Solar Ash from the same development team that brought us Hyper Light Drifter, and while the game doesn’t quite live up to the hype of Heart Machine’s previous titles, it’s a grower that you’ll enjoy the more you play. Paired with the fantastic movement mechanics are puzzle sequences and huge boss fights, which remind me of Shadow of the Colossus. During the gameplay trailer, we see Rei climbing a snake-like beast that needs to be defeated in order to save her world.Solar Ash is all about how you traverse across the environment, elegantly skating across the clouds, leaping, and jumping as you go. On top of that, you’ll have to fight giant creatures that are made of nothing but bone and sludge. In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Preston goes on to say that you’ll encounter larger, more difficult enemies over time. As you run around environments, it looks like you’re skating, which adds to the fluidity Heart Machine is going for.Īs for combat, enemies will require precise timing to defeat them. Gameplay shows off Rei gliding from one area to the next, grappling on platforms, and wall climbing. The game focuses on Rei, a Voidrunner on a mission to save her world from the Ultravoid, a giant black hole that consumes entire worlds.ĭuring the trailer, Heart Machine creative director Alex Preston said the game is focused on style and fluid gameplay. At the time, not a lot of information was revealed besides a trailer and confirmation of it coming to the Epic Games Store.Īt over three minutes, the new trailer for Solar Ash gives players a good look at the scope of the world and what you can do. Heart Machine forgoes the 2D art style from Hyper Light Drifter, its first game, and goes for a fully 3D open-world in Solar Ash. Solar Ash was announced back in March 2019 as Solar Ash Kingdom. It’s fun, intuitive and another reason to play on the move. #RAYMAN SWITCH PORTABLE#Playable only in portable mode, they had me swapping between traditional platforming and touch-screen controls for a number of cool actions.Ĭontained in their own individual gallery with new unlockables, it feels far more substantial than replaying old stages for the novelty of touch controls. Speaking of Murfy, the “Murfy’s Touch” levels return, previously only utilised on Wii U, in spectacular style. Whether it be cutting ropes, tickling enemies or gorging on cake, the little green creature’s inclusion is always a delight. Certain levels have Murfy alongside you, who is able to perform context-specific actions across the environment. While I spent plenty of time jumping around and punching fools as Rayman, Legends ensures that things never become stale with a surprising amount of variety in its mechanics. As with most of Rayman Legends, it’s all about being fun and rewarding the player for all actions, regardless of how miniscule they might appear. Scratched using the analogue sticks or touchscreen, these optional lottery tickets are a proper treat to delve into. Origin levels are unlocked through Lucky Tickets, which can be scratched to unlock Lums, Teensies, bonus levels and creatures. This is some of the best 2D platforming on any system, and puts Rayman’s beloved yet flawed 3D adventures to comparative shame. The fact each stage holds up effortlessly is a testament to Ubisoft’s fantastic talent, and simultaneously acts as a solid contender to Mario’s platforming crown. The predecessor’s finest moments have been revamped and remixed for Legends with all new unlockables and hidden secrets. In addition to its own set of individual worlds, you’ve also got plenty of remastered efforts from Rayman Origins. It would certainly make a potential second purchase on Switch more appealing.įortunately, Legends is still positively stuffed with content. Perhaps we could have seen a selection of levels based on famous Nintendo characters with unlockable costumes to boot? It’s no deal-breaker, but a small omission I would have loved to see addressed. Despite this, I would have enjoyed a few additional worlds or levels to dig my teeth into on Switch. That’s no bad thing, as Legends has already proven itself as a truly special platformer. In terms of moment-to-moment action, this is the exact same game I played back in 2013. Every step feels instilled with a feeling of satisfaction, keeping the sense of fun intact no matter what you’re doing. Envisioned as a charming little art gallery, there are plenty of secrets to be discovered before descending into the meat of Rayman Legends. Supporting up to four players, some levels can descend into absolute chaos with a few buddies in tow.įeaturing an array of different worlds, all of Rayman Legend’s levels can be accessed via a central hub that also houses plenty of additional multiplayer modes. I found playing with a pal on Switch to be an absolute joy, and relatively seamless with the use of two joy-con controllers. You can thankfully alleviate its more challenging sections by bringing in a friend. Legend’s difficulty strikes a perfect balance, only ever frustrating during the hardest of boss battles. Bounding across platforms and launching my fists into enemies felt graceful, but always required a keen sense of precision or it’s back to the previous checkpoint. Rayman can run, jump, punch and fly across almost any environment. There’s great creativity on display from Ubisoft, and this transfers over to its fiendishly challenging gameplay.īuy Rayman Legends Definitive Edition from Amazon UK | Īt its core, Rayman Legends is incredibly easy to pick up and play, with co-operative gameplay gaining a new lease of life thanks to Switch’s seamless multiplayer capabilities. Variety is also in plentiful supply, with Rayman stumbling across worlds made of cake, cooking utensils and even didgeridoos. #RAYMAN SWITCH FREE#Legends is a beautiful game, with every frame reminiscent of a lovingly crafted painting I’m free to explore in search of kidnapped Teensies and smugly-smiling Lums. Now it’s on Nintendo Switch in what is arguably the best version to date. Nearly every level was an unexpected joy that challenged and charmed in equal measure. When it first launched in 2013 I was blown away by its stunning level design, whimsical music and truly creative imagination. Rayman Legends is one of the finest 2D platformers of recent years, and arguably the limbless mascot’s best outing to date. If your team is built to have Clefable be a defensive stopper or pivot, Leftovers is the right item. Providing passive recovery so Clef can sponge hits better, Leftovers are a staple of most Clef sets. Luckily, Clefable has one competitively viable item : Leftovers. The first detail of a set on Pokemon Showdown is a Pokemon’s item. Steel and Poison moves are almost exclusively carried by Steel and Poison Pokemon, which are easy to spot on opposing teams. The fact that it won’t be hit with a surprise super-effective move makes using Clefable even easier. I won’t include calcs at this point because EVs and natures can vary, but common OU Pokemon (Landorus, Rotom, Weavile, Tornadus, Keldeo) have difficulty breaking Clefable down.Ĭlefable is a defensive anchor because it is extremely difficult to break. Any other Pokemon (barring absolute powerhouses like Mega Medicham and Mega Charizard Y) can be pivoted on with Clefable. These are the few Pokemon that carry Steel and Poison moves. Scizor, Metagross, Bisharp, Jirachi, Magnezone, Excadrill, Amoongus, and Gengar. When was the last time you saw an HP Steel Serperior or a Sludge Wave Landorus-T? This means that moves to hit Clefable super-effectively are extremely limited and they’re usually obviously telegraphed at Team Preview. Both of these types are similar in that they are not common attacking types and are rarely used for coverage moves. The main reason for this is inherent to Clefable : pure Fairy typing.įairy has two weaknesses : Poison and Steel. Whenever you put a Clefable on your team, regardless of its moves or EVs, you get a stubborn wall and strong defensive pivot. So, we’re going to break down all the elements of a Clefable set, and create a set to compliment your team. That really only works for the centerpiece of a team, since you’re building outward from it. If you use Smogon Strategy Dex, you are given several sets and a list of team options for each. What makes Clefable a dominant S-Ranked threat is its ability to use a variety of sets to fit the needs of your team exactly. 95/73/90 defense stats don’t scream “wall”. But, Clefable’s stats aren’t as stellar as its S-Rank would make it seem. In some cases, mindlessly using a Clefable is enough to secure victories (T-Wave and Soft-boiled, anyone?). It was one of three S-Rank OU Pokemon (a measure of viability and ability to function in diverse situations) in Smogon’s Viability Rankings v4. Clefable is the premiere defensive anchor and utility Pokemon of ORAS OU. All-wheel drive costs $2,000 on most trims, or $2,900 on the Autograph. The tweaks work, nudging it to a 6 out of 10 on the TCC scale. Though it may be a close relative to the Nissan Pathfinder, the QX60 is awash in sound deadening and its suspension gains softer tuning to help give it a more luxurious feel. In Autograph form, the QX60 looks downright luxurious with its ultra-soft leather and its open-pore wood trim, though even base models have a classy feel to help substantiate the price hike over a Pathfinder. The 12.3-inch touchscreen that floats above integrates well enough, too. The flowing dash top gives way to purposeful lines and a center console that wraps slightly toward the driver. The QX60 is really at its best inside, though. From the rear, the QX60 is busy and the brightwork at the bottom of the bumper looks like an afterthought, though. Autograph versions have intriguing two-tone paint that works better here than in some other SUVs. Leave the mud-plugging to the Pathfinder, though, since the QX60 rides on 18-inch wheels in base form or 20-inchers otherwise. The QX60’s broad front grille sits above faux skid plates, which correspond with unpainted fender flares and lower cladding for a quasi-rugged look. We like the QX60’s dressy exterior and its soothing cabin, the latter of which nudges it to an 8 out of 10. We’d skip the base trim for at least the $56,500-or-so Luxe with its driver-assistance tech and surround-view camera system, or we’d step up to $60,000 Sensory that lives up to our luxury expectations with its wood trim and Bose audio. #Infinity car plusIt starts at $50,395, plus $2,000 for all-wheel drive. How much does the 2023 Infiniti QX60 cost?Ī price hike this year makes the QX60 less of a value than before. Standard safety tech includes automatic emergency braking front and rear, lane-departure warnings, and blind-spot monitors, while the ProPilot Assist system that allows for short stints of hands-free driving at higher speeds comes on higher trims. Cargo space could be better, but nearly 42 cubic feet behind row two still bests smaller SUVs or sedans. A booster or child seat can stay in place in row two when pushed forward for access to the third row, too. On the flip side, the spacious cabin offers terrific seating in rows one and two, with decent space for passengers in the third row. A hybrid or even a turbo-4 would make a big difference here. Plenty of sound deadening and soft suspension tuning help the QX60 feel more refined than the Pathfinder, though just 23 mpg combined in front-drive form disappoints. The QX60 makes use of a 3.5-liter V-6 to hustle 295 hp to the front or all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission. That’s something that we can’t say for Cadillac and Audi compared to their mainstream Chevy and VW siblings. There’s a lot of Nissan to its switches and buttons, though. Inside, the QX60 inches ahead of the Pathfinder with an elegant design including a tablet-style touchscreen and a wide range of paint hues. Otherwise, standard Infiniti cues such as the big grille and high-mounted, narrow headlights carry over. Its stately, conservative lines have a rugged edge with the unpainted fender flares and lower cladding. Mechanically similar to the Nissan Pathfinder, the QX60 largely takes off where its sibling ends at a smidge over $50,000. #Infinity car free)įor 2023, the QX60 gains three years of free maintenance and a wireless charging pad. With its family-friendly interior and good set of driver-assistance tech, the 2023 QX60 rates highly. I do agree its well written though and well voiced too which really helps. For me, I found the Last of Us quite cliched and predictable - not saying it was 'bad' as a lot of 'good' movies are predictable and have some 'cliches' too. I do agree that the Witcher 3 has a fantastic story and that many of its side quests are better written than a lot of other games and their main story. Batman: Arkham Knight has a good story too and most peoples issue is more to do with the Batmobile combat but the story is still good. Tomb Raider for example has a great story. Wed 11th Jul Ok so Crash and Doom aren't exactly great narratives but a lot of the others I mentioned have good Single Player stories. Not saying that they don't deserve their place, but that there are a LOT of great single player games that others may prefer to seek out that maybe more suited to what they prefer to play. Some of the games I have mentioned though also have a much higher metacritic score than some (not all) of the 20 here. Its certainly not ALL online only service based games at all. I could go on and on but there are a LOT of great Single Player games - even if 1 or 2 do have some MP too. There are of course other Single Player games that haven't made this list that are also worth mentioning - you have Wolfenstein (both and the stand alone), Fallout 4, Bloodborne, Doom, AC: Origins, Tomb Raider (both), Infamous (2nd Son and First Light), Uncharted: Lost Legacy & Nathan Drake Collection, Batman: Arkham Knight, Alien Isolation, Evil Within 1 & 2, RE7, Doom, R&C, Crash Bandicoot etc etc etc. I hope that these aren't in order! Non-compostable waste was either brought to a dumpsite where it was thrown away, covered in soil once the dump was full, thrown onto the street where it was left to pile up, or it was burned. Nowadays, our consumer society has resulted in us thinking that if something is broken it’s garbage and we should throw it away. Items always had an alternate use for them.įor instance, pottery that was broken could’ve been remade into new pottery in a similar way, like a mosaic, and clothing that was tattered could be remade into rags. Furniture, pottery, broken tools, and fabrics were also repurposed and repaired as many times as it was possible. Our current idea of waste is a lot different than the one they had before the industrial revolution.Īt that time, waste not only included food waste, textiles, ash, wood, and organics. when the Japanese shredded their old records and documents and made them into new sheets of paper! The first evidence of recycling was recorded in 1031 A.D. Recycling is a very important part of our lives, but do any of us actually know the history of recycling? The concept of reusing certain materials has been around for many years. Today, blue recycle bins accept paper, most glass containers, plastic packaging, steel cans, and aluminum cans. Since then, the system has been modified and adopted across the globe, and it remains active to this very day. The blue recycling bin system was first introduced as a way of collecting and sorting household waste in a more efficient way. However, recycling has been around for years. We recommend you put your house number on your wheelie bins. You might think that recycling is a new concept due to the greater public’s recent awareness and media coverage across the world. You should then put your blue bin out on its next collection day. You should remove the items and either put them in your black bin or take them to a recycling centre. If you get a red tag we will NOT empty it. If we notice that your blue bin has items in it that shouldn't be there we will put a red tag on the bin handle. If you can't keep it until your next collection, you can take your excess waste to any of our waste and recycling centres. We have put stickers on the lids of blue bins to remind you what shouldn't go in your paper and card bin. Please ensure all material is clean and dry - believe it or not, when it's damp bacteria can start to break it down, generating heat which poses a risk of fire.ĭO NOT put the following items in your blue recycling bin: NOT accepted: Drinks and food cartons, wet cardboard, takeaway drinks cups and takeaway food boxes (for example pizza boxes) if contaminated with food CardĪccepted: cereal boxes, brown corrugated packaging, sleeves from ready meals, toilet/ kitchen roll tubes, greeting cards and gift bags (excluding foil, glitter or plastic coated), cardboard egg boxes, toothpaste boxes NOT accepted: Wallpaper, tissues, napkins, paper towels, nappies, laminated paper, padded envelopes, wet paper, textiles, Pringles tubes, crisp and sweetie wrappers. Hardback books are also accepted but we would always recommend that these are re-used or donated to a charity shop. Accepted: newspapers, magazines, leaflets, phone directories, envelopes (fully intact including glue and windows), brochures, office paper, letters, catalogues, unwanted mail, shredded paper, wrapping paper and gift bags (excluding foil, glitter or plastic coated), paperback books. Instead of being limited to shooting the ball in a net that has been placed on the ground, this net is placed above ground, similar to basketball. Hoops takes Rocket League to a whole other universe. Given this information, teams need to make every hit valuable as one wrong choice can cost you the game. Sounds easy right? Here’s where things get tricky: Your hits can be catastrophic to your team if the opposing team supercharges the ball into your side of the field. Dropshotĭropshot involves blasting the ball through an opponent’s floor. When a goal is scored, that powerup is lost and the cooldown restarts. Once using a powerup, a cooldown of 10 seconds begins, randomizing your next powerup. Rumble is similar to a standard match but more chaotic. Players on the field also need to undergo a mindset strong enough to break any barriers inside and outside the area of play. Due to the number of players in the match, each and every player needs to position themselves strategically and undertake a well-coordinated effort. In a Standard match, teammates are your key to success. Positioning and map awareness plays a huge factor in a doubles game. Both teammates need to operate collectively in order to score the ball in the net. Doublesĭoubles would be considered the perfect balance between a ball hogging one’s player and a team coordinator. Well known one’s players such as ScrubKilla or Joreuz perform well in this area. However, negative emotions such as toxicity and anger come out of this playlist as there is no one to blame for your mistakes other than yourself. The amount of strategic planning taking place both inside a player’s mind and on the field is massive. Solo Duel revolves entirely around raw skill. Competitive Playlists in Rocket League Solo Duel |
